6. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to assist with code generation and development tasks. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or security vulnerabilities
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating all AI-generated code before use
- AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice of any kind
- We make no guarantees regarding the correctness, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated outputs
- The AI may produce outputs that are similar or identical to outputs generated for other users; you do not acquire exclusive rights in AI-generated outputs, and we may provide the same or similar outputs to others
7. Billing and Payments
Subscriptions
The Service operates on a subscription-based model with credit allocations. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan you select. All fees are stated in euros and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise noted.
Credits
Each subscription plan includes a monthly allocation of credits. Credits are consumed when you use the AI agent (build credits) or when your applications use platform resources such as database queries and file storage (usage credits). Credit costs vary based on the complexity and resources consumed.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current rate unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Failed Payments
If a scheduled payment fails or is reversed, we may retry the charge, suspend your access to paid features, and, if the failure is not resolved within a reasonable period, terminate your subscription. You remain responsible for amounts owed for any period of access already provided.
No Refunds
All fees are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods and are forfeited upon expiration or cancellation of your subscription.
Changes to Pricing
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. Price changes for existing subscriptions will take effect at the start of the next billing period following notice to you.
8. Service Availability and Dependencies
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure providers and AI model providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for outages, degraded performance, or service interruptions caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including third-party service failures, network issues, or force majeure events.
We reserve the right to perform scheduled maintenance and may temporarily suspend access to the Service with reasonable notice when practicable.
Beta and Preview Features
Features identified as "beta", "preview", "experimental", or otherwise not part of the generally available Service are provided for evaluation purposes only. Such features may contain bugs, may change significantly, may be withdrawn at any time, and are provided "as is" without warranties or service commitments of any kind. Your use of these features is at your own risk.
Changes to the Service
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, in whole or in part. We will use reasonable efforts to give advance notice of changes that materially reduce the core functionality of a paid plan.
9. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described therein.
We use Google Analytics to measure traffic and understand how visitors use the Service. Analytics cookies are set when you access the Service. You can manage these cookies through your browser settings or the controls described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for any data you process through applications built on the Service. If your applications collect data from end users, you must provide appropriate privacy notices and obtain any necessary consents.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if:
- You violate these Terms or any applicable law
- Your use of the Service poses a security risk or may harm other users
- Your account has been inactive for an extended period
- Required by law or regulatory authority
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your data within a reasonable period following termination.
11. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligence, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hanlec and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Portugal. You waive any objection to jurisdiction and venue in such courts.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence, nor of your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where applicable law so permits.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
16. Miscellaneous

- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
- Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
- Force Majeure. We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations to the extent caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, pandemics, government actions, internet or telecommunications failures, and failures of third-party service providers.
17. Copyright and Content Complaints
We do not allow use of the Service to host unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others. If you believe that content made available through the Service infringes your rights or violates applicable law, please contact us at support@hanlec.com with enough detail for us to identify the content and the issue. We will review reports in good faith and may remove content or suspend accounts where we consider it appropriate. We may terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
